Glenwood High School Choral Network

GHS Choral Program Overview

The Glenwood High School Choral Program has maintained an outstanding tradition of excellence throughout its history. A well-rounded music education can be accessed by any member of the Glenwood student body. Members of the Glenwood Choral Program are given a variety of opportunities to experience music through performance and analysis in an effort to foster the joy of singing.

The Glenwood Choirs include:

  • Bass Choir - a non-auditioned choir open to tenor and bass singers. This ensemble studies and performs a variety of repertoire from different periods and styles.
  • Treble Choir - a non-auditioned choir open to soprano and alto singers. This ensemble studies and performs a variety of repertoire from different periods and styles
  • Symphonic Choir - the advanced concert choir open to all students by audition. This ensemble serves as the next step for singers to improve their talents and abilities.
  • Fusion Jazz Choir - the vocal jazz and a cappella ensemble open to all students by audition. This ensemble focuses on the study and performance of modern styles of music, such as swing, funk, and Latin.
  • Titan Fever Show Choir - the competitive show choir open to all students by audition. This ensemble focuses on the study and performance of popular styles of music along with choreography and other movement.
